Hwy. 90 bridge - Ocean Springs - looking west.

,,,..,

Turning back around toward the concrete barrier, I could not believe that aspalt had literally been stripped

and washed up against the barrier. A close up of a portion of the wash reveals an abstract landscape.

Standing at the spot above and below left me speechless.

Continuing to pan around... Biloxi is on the horizon.

As I walked off of the highway and down the slope, I noticed that within the debris on the ground

that Katrina had left behind, a bright sign of the renewal of life had sprung up.

Never fear that life continues onward and upward through destruction.

Renewal has begun ... the process is in motion ... please proceed with thoughtfulness.

Driving away from the bridge, we were heading south around Front Beach

on our way back to Washington Ave.

Continue on Front Beach

"If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer.
But if he spends his days as a speculator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time,
he is deemed an industrious and enterprising citizen." - Henry David Thoreau
