Going south on Washington Ave., to Front Beach, in 2004. The Live Oak has a sign reading, "Clearance 11'. "
Part of that branch is now gone and this particular tree is much thinner,
but it remains and the sign remains – roll over to see!
Just a little further south on Washington, this home stands while it's neighbors lie in a pile or are completely gone.
The panorama continues below... to the corner of La Fontaine.
The green house is 204 Washington.
The house to the immediate right is gone.
The house in the background on the right is on La Fontaine. It is split in half and is only two doors west
of Oakshade Bed and Breakfast which was virtually unscathed. These trees are extremely damaged...
Oakshade's are thin due to leaf loss, but basically, their branches are in place.

Standing in front of Oakshade and looking down La Fontaine to Washington...
We could now see Front Beach and Biloxi on the horizon which, pre-Katrina, was impossible.
The red star indicates the beach area.
View of Washington looking east from Front Beach Drive. In Nov. 2004, the circle drive above,
was in process of leading to a new home. Now the trees and yard are filled with debris,
and the only sign of a former homeplace is the circle drive, and the mailbox.
