Dear Ocean Springs,
You are a sweet, sweet space within this expanse of a planet.
A magical space within our very own state.
We were most blessed and lucky to find you. Our images from our visit to you were the ones we've held close.
You were in our thoughts everyday. We spoke of you often.
Then Katrina.
We could only imagine the destruction to you and the people there as we watched daily
the images on t.v. coming out of New Orleans, Slidell, Waveland, Long Beach, Bay St. Louis,
The Pass, Gulfport, Biloxi, Pascagoula, and Mobile.
Ocean Springs was being overlooked by the media and I emailed them and let them know.
We searched high and low for information about you and the people,
posting to message boards our concerns and who we were looking for.
We were traumatized by Katrina's power.
Everyone we knew, everyone we didn't know, was, and still is, in our thoughts, in our hearts, in our prayers.
We wish you all the very best.
